About me

Andrea Friedrich is a student of Cultural Anthropology, Intercultural Communications and Philosophy at Munich University LMU. She was born and grew up in Berlin (DE), moved to London (UK) as soon as she got her "Abitur" certificate to work in hotel business and after two years decided to move on. She made the city of the biggest beer festival her new home even though she doesn't even like beer, and is stuck there ever since. Even though she considers Munich terribly posh it has some good sides as well, e.g. the closeness of the Alps. There is nothing like the Alp-panorama from Munich, except being in the Alps of course.

Photography has always been a hobby but turned into an addiction when she decided to photograph concerts. It's the love for the music, the aim to picture musicians on stage best possible and to capture the atmosphere of concerts that drives her. Due to her taste of music Andrea mainly - but not solely - photographs Metal and Rock bands. She does concert photos, reviews, interviews and CD-reviews for the German magazine www.metal.de, and every now and then works with www.hardtimes-mag.com as well.
